Description
Samoa – Ofu and Olosega
Ofu-Olosega is a tiny twin island in the South Pacific, part of American Samoa. Breathtaking sandy beaches in front of spectacular cliffs, absolute tranquillity in the untouched tropical rain forest and some of the most beautiful coral reefs in the South Pacific.
The twin islands are located in the Manu’a Archipelago in the Pacific Ocean about 100km east of Tutuila, the main island of American Samoa. Connected only by a thin land bridge, the 70-metre-wide Asaga Strait, the two islands of Ofu and Olosega are known as the diving and snorkeling paradise of American Samoa. With only about 500 inhabitants, the absolutely untouched Ofu-Olosega is considered the lost Garden of Eden of the United States.
