Description

Professor Lane’s career in the fine arts began when she gained recognition for her involvement in the International Women’s Art Festival Slide Exhibition in 1975. The festival traveled to the Ford Foundation Auditorium, New York, N.Y.; the Whittaker Center of Science and the Arts, Harrisburg, Pa.; and to many public institutions of higher education in the Mid-Atlantic Region. She became known nationally and internationally for her limited edition lithographs produced for Fine Arts 260, a division of the Book of the Month Club; Collector’s Guild, a division of Doubleday and Co., Ltd.; the New York Graphics Society; Original Print Collector’s Group, Ltd.; and, Art Spectrum.

She has exhibited her paintings at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn, N.Y.; the Synagogue for the Arts, Tribeca, N.Y.; the Snug Harbor Cultural Center, Staten Island, N.Y.; the Allentown Art Museum, Allentown, Pa.; the Middleton Gallery, Annapolis, Md.; the Antoine Dutot Museum and Gallery, Delaware Water Gap, Pa., and at numerous other institutions of higher education in addition to ESU. She also exhibits at national parks such as the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge and the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
