Description

The Temptation of Saint Anthony is a triptych and consists of four parts: the left panel depicts the flight and fall of Saint Anthony. The center panel shows the temptations he was subjected to. The right panel depicts the contemplation of Saint Anthony, while the back sides of both side panels show scenes from the life of Christ painted in grisaille (monochrome or near monochrome painting technique).
